In many cases, yes. Markets such as Germany or Belgium offer far more choice, better-equipped cars and more competitive prices. Even so, it doesn't always pay off: some costs can make an import more expensive until it's no longer worth it. That's why part of our service is advising you on whether importing makes sense for you. We are honest and transparent: if it doesn't add up, we'll tell you.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on each case: the car, the country of origin and the Spanish region where you live, as transport and the ITV and DGT timescales all play a part. For more precise dates, contact us and we'll look at your specific case.
What taxes and costs are involved?
Mainly the registration tax (based on CO₂ emissions), the import ITV inspection, DGT fees, number plates and transport. Depending on the vehicle and other circumstances, other taxes may apply. Everything is itemised in our quote, with no small print. For more information, contact us.
How do I know the car is in good condition?
The vehicle is inspected before purchase: service history, mileage, any damage, and its mechanical and cosmetic condition. If something doesn't add up, we'll tell you and look for another option.
Does the car come with a warranty?
It depends on the vehicle and the seller at origin. Many European dealers offer a 12 to 24-month warranty. Either way, we always let you know before closing the purchase, so you know exactly what cover you have.
I've already found a car. Can you help me?
Of course. With Premium inspection, our contacts inspect the car at origin for you, and with our Paperwork service we handle all the paperwork once you've brought it over.
Do I need to travel to see the car?
No. You'll receive photos, videos and a report on the vehicle, and you'll see it in person when we deliver it to you, already registered.
Do you deliver anywhere in Spain?
Yes, except the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
How is payment made?
The money for the car never goes through our hands: you pay the dealer directly and the invoices are in your name. We only charge our import service fee. For more details, contact us.
